Kington and District
Kington Churches Together (KCT) started 30 years ago, and over the years, there have been many joint services, including:
- Walk of Witness on Good Friday
- Healing service in October on St Luke’s feast day
- Festival Songs of Praise in the Plas–de–Marines
- Holy Tuesday service
- Presentation Service
- Lent Groups
and many more too numerous to list.
Outside visits and outings are open to all to help us widen our understanding of Church and provide us with excellent fellowship.
Fr Simon McGurk is the present Chair and we hold at least 4 meetings a year.
Weobley
Churches Together in Weobley (CTW) meet 4/5 times a year at the Methodist Chapel and represents the three Churches in Weobley – Anglican, Methodist and Catholic.
Together we endeavour to encourage the congregations of these Churches to view each other as Christians on their spiritual journey to follow Christ’s teaching.
Each year we hold/organize/take part in the following:
- Harvest festival
- Remembrance Day parade
- Christmas cards for the residents of Weobley
- Carol singing at the Rose Garden
- CTW Christmas lunch
- Walk of Witness on Good Friday
- Retreat day
